There's no better way to welcome Spring inside than to fill vases with freshly cut flowers. After browsing through some inspiration photos online, I decided to give this simple project a try. This project was easy! You can create your own vase with twine and an empty spaghetti jar too!
I started by wrapping twine around the bottom of the jar, then added a little hot glue and placed the twine on top. Repeat this method all around the jar. A few flowers from my yard complete the look!

OMGosh...so cute. If it doesn't rain around here soon, I won't have any beautiful flowers to bring in for that vase... {sad face}
Super cute, Brandi! Love the texture mixed with the fresh flowers! I want to try this! Spaghetti for dinner tomorrow. LOL! I think a few of these used down a long table would make a nice centerpiece for a summer party.
Hope you had a wonderful and relaxing Easter!
Hugs!!!

What a great idea! It's even better to repurpose and reuse than it is to recycle. Love it!

I used twine wrapping in some flower vases I made too! I love it b/c it's cheap (found at the dollar store) and gives a chic cheap and polished look to things. I think i will start saving my spaghetti jars now!
I love this! Will def. be doing this. Found you through Girlish Whims.Thanks for sharing.

I used a similar technique with some larger diameter jute on some ugly ginger jar style, plaster lamps and it was remarkable just how great they turned out.
LOVELY idea :)
