When the time came to select curtains for my laundry room, I had a tough time finding something that I liked. Everything was either too expensive or just not my style. Before leaving the store empty-handed, I decided to browse the bedding linens aisle. There, I found a sheet set in a pattern that I loved. I ended up sewing kitchen curtains out of the flat sheet before we updated our kitchen and decided to use the pillowcases for curtains in the laundry room. The pattern and colors were perfect and best of all, they were easy to hang and didn't involve any sewing!
The sheet set was a great price, quality brand sheets for only $20.
To hang the pillowcase on the curtain rod, I simply snipped off the top corners of each pillowcase. If you like you could add a little fray check to the edges.
To keep the raw edge from being visible, I tucked it in before hanging the pillowcase on the rod.
I'm so happy with the results. The pillowcase fit the window perfectly.
